Some founders these days are too focused on their own branding rather than their firm's performance. The ulterior motive for the firm's branding is still their own branding.

Totally, kuch samay se kaafi saare entrepreneurs ko famous hone ka keeda chadha hai.
And now even professionals from established businesses are entering the fray.
All these activities definitely makes them famous, but does it have any other benefits?

It has way too many downsides.
-
Founders get less time to spend with the firm, with their employees, direct reportees. This unavailability further creates an unnecessary aura of greatness of founders that increases the distance.
-
Then reportees, management feel unnecessary to keep founders updated on some issues, which prevents sorting out structural issues in running of the business. Attention gets drawn away from boring essentials to new shiny things, initiatives, releases. This is all due to founders being superactive on social media.
-
Priorities get aligned about short term things, new initiatives and firefighting. Employees get burnt out and attrition increases, continuity of work decreases.

Kitna jhoot bolega ye mota

Why would Delhi and Mumbai want to be tech hubs; they’ve their own USP’s. It’s like saying Manhattan, New York can’t compete with SFO.

Two Indian products/founders who I admire the most operate from NCR - Zomato and UrbanCompany. And this guy along with most other inflated startups operate from Bangalore. So, actual data says otherwise. It's better to build outside the centre of hype and FOMO, that way one will remain grounded in actually solving a problem through excellent execution and building a great business that way.

Why assume that other tech hubs will replace banglore in the first place 😂 They can co exist

He is right
