If you are a young investor, please please go bullish with equity. Give it some time and see your money grow.

You can keep a small amount in FDs as emergency fund.

I've simple logic if I'm going to trust a company enough to buy their bonds which are also subject to default. Why not directly buy shares of that company.

For example as a small ticket retail investor, getting into mess of corporate bonds is not worth it.
