My girlfriend (now wife) was working near KR Puram in bangalore and me, near electronics city. After crazy rains in the evening, she was freaked out to drive back in her car because there were trees fallen. I was on my bike. So went all the way from e-city to KR Puram, guided her on my bike to her place in Btm layout and went back to my house in Malleshwaram while it was pouring.
So, from south Bangalore to east and back to south and then to north.
But that was 2013 and the traffic was manageable.
I get belted now for not stepping out of the house to get groceries. 💁🏾♂️

Was in a situationship with someone for over a year, realised I felt very strongly about her and we had good compatibility - asked her if she wanted to make it exclusive and build together
She choose another person over me, I made my peace with it and tried to move on (basically became a gym bro).
Every few months she comes back and texts me saying that I was the best thing in her life and that she wants to get serious and that her mom really wants us to get together.
At this point it’s become joke in my friend circle, cause she’ll come back and then decide she doesn’t want to make this work.

I regret not being blind in love.
Been there, used to stay in hotels on weekends just to hangout with her. And one day she breaks the news about going abroad, all my efforts just worthless. Even after that I tried to make her feel special like one last time she was "I never asked you to do this and that" . Now we hardly talk.
I realised later (after few years of relationship) that on many instances where I thought I am respecting her own time/space, I was getting two timed with someone else.
While I definitely won't stop giving time/space if and when I will get into the next relationship.
But I will have to certainly deal with the fear or thought of being two timed again.
