I am currently stacking up my money. Recession is gonna come. And there's no better opportunity to make money than recession

i invest only 20%. all in nifty 50 MF.
some on ppf paid annually.
stocking up some money as this is my first job.

Recently I have simplified a lot. There are just two use cases I have : i) Money i might need within 5 years: stays in my savings account/ sweepin fd ii) Money i don't need in next 5 years: goes into equity.
I used to spread my investments across multiple classes but realised it's not worth the hassle. Also at a marginal tax rate of 30% on other instruments, even if equity returns 7% cagr in long term I'll do ok. If it doesn't I'll look stupid but I'm willing to take that risk given I don't have any big liabilities.

40% equities (stocks and mf) 5% vacation fund
