What’s the idea behind posting selfies or pictures of oneself on random LinkedIn posts?!

I have been scrolling LinkedIn a lot for job hunting purposes and can’t really understand why are people posting random self images with random post! Is there something a-logarithmic? , is this plain baiting?

Average LinkedIn User 😮‍💨

Idk why she is posting this, but whenever I open LinkedIn, I find a similar post like this. I don't blame any LinkedIn User because I am one, but why do people post shit like this when they want to say something, or they did do validation.
