Hi Guys, I am planning to build a house in my land.I got a proposal of 2600 rs per sq ft. What is the right amount nowadays in the Coimbatore location. Note: I asked all top quality materials Like SAIL brand tmt bars , Ultratech cement , Wirecut bricks and Jaguar bathroom fittings. The engineer have a budget plan for 2300 sq ft as well with medium quality materials.

Don't over kill on materials quality when you are dealing with an engineer. Nominal quality is good because most engineers tend to play tricks with us when we ask specific or top quality material Sometimes he comes with material demand issues and requests you to go for alternatives. Always have 3 brand alternative for each material so that this problem can be avoided.try to take off some small works from engineer budget to save engineer margin for those works.if you find a cheaper material of same quality than the engineer budget then adjust that cost post completion. construction can be done within 2200-2300 in coimbatore. I would say choose the later one proposal.
