Everyday is a good day to switch, until you're getting offers

this is by far the most sly/ cunning policy across all corporates. In my time across corporates most had different timelines for everything In Mar the current year appraisal is done but hikes are decided and applicable from 1 July (i.e the hike will reflect only in July end salary receipt) . The bonus is however given in April ( End of April credit) Am eligible for Bonus only if i worked for 9 Months in the FY. So if i Change jobs in April, i will not lose a few % in my negotiation, as the new HR will talk about compensation from my existing pay.
If i quit in Sep, then i wont receive bonus at the my next company.
