WFO vs WFH, Which one to choose?
These are my thoughts for those who are just starting their career and are given the option to choose between between working remotely or working from office,
If you work remotely, you enjoy a flexible schedule and have the freedom to plan your day as you wish, and you can reduce your expenses. However, there are some downsides to remote work.
Firstly you might find yourself stuck in a comfort zone, which could limit your personal and professional growth. If you are an introverted person who doesn't like meeting new people, I seriously suggest you consider working from office that will improve you a lot in long run. Because these days communication and soft skills are equally important to technical skills.
On the other hand, If you are in the office, you will receive a lot of guidance from your seniors, gain a deeper understanding about how everything works and you can build a good network, and trust me, it's really valuable for your ongoing career journey.
Additionally, working in office allows you to make great friends and grow independently if you are staying away from home.
Early in your career, Its easier to ask questions and seek help, but as you gain experience, you might feel a bit hesitant to ask as freely
I might be wrong and ultimately, the decision is up to you. Choose wisely, and best wishes on your journey!

I don't think so. Even in remote work I get a lot of insights and guidance from seniors and most of my team members are from North America anyway. When I work remotely, I work 10 hrs effortlessly (10-8). I definitely won't put the same commitment if I need to WFO

Happy to know that Wfh works for you but I don’t think it works the same for everyone.
But if you have the real commitment and desperation you can build yourself in any way. However, this could be accelerated or smoother when there are people around you motivating and guiding you always
Your perspective is insightful. Remote work offers flexibility but can hinder growth in communication and networking. Office work accelerates learning, mentorship, and professional connections, especially early in one's career. A hybrid approach, balancing both, could be ideal for maximum growth.

Yeah, great thought, thanks!!

Work from anywhere is best
