West Bengal Employee Stabs Colleagues Over Leave Dispute
A West Bengal government employee, Amit Kumar Sarkar, stabbed four colleagues after being denied leave. He worked in the technical education department in Kolkata's Newtown area.
Sarkar was seen walking around the city with a blood-stained knife, warning passersby not to approach him. The incident was captured on video.
The injured colleagues were hospitalized, with two in critical condition. Sarkar has been arrested, and police suspect mental health issues may be involved.
