I have been intrigued by VK since I started reading the book - “The Power Law” which is on the US VC industry. Keen to learn more.

Interesting one!

He comes across as belligerent and blunt as he claims - guess he can indulge without a care. 😅 some things I liked -

  1. All interesting things happen at the edge of the systems - maybe at the intersection of fields
  2. Failures don’t matter, success does. Anything worth trying is hard. With enough persistence most impossible things will be possible.
  3. Have a belief system and an internal compass to drive your decisions / vision.

Interesting - “The insidious logic of achievement permanently forces us to get ahead of ourselves. Once we have achieved something, we want to achieve more, that is, we want to get ahead of ourselves yet again.”

I wish there were solutions to do better. :(
