Want to change for TPM (technical program manager ) profile , currently I am working as a QA engineer from past 5 years .

1.Start by becoming a QA lead first.
2. Build rich reports with your own QA data in a way that’s extensible to program metrics in an analytical way. Ex: Test Case Efficiency etc. This gets you visibility and you come across as someone data oriented. 3. Speak to your product folks or BAs. Get oriented to business thinking without losing track of tech stuff. 4. The most important- Learn/understand tech from first principles and simplify it for business folks. Become a bridge between tech and business.

Nail the 4th one and you will go places.
