And while I love their well researched articles, I don’t know if it’s good for the ecosystem to constantly be negative.

@AlphaGrindset They have done dissection of each sector starting with an negative mindset, written by Indian authors
The fuck we can expect?

This is called trp ke liye kuch bhi karega. Sensationalism sells.

Negativity Sells. I mean you write a 100 positive article and they would go unnoticed. One negative article and you will have all the eyeballs.

What can they do?
In the VC/startup world, the only counter narrative is going to be bearish. The VCs, the founders, the employees, even the vendors have to be unreasonably bullish on the said firm.
And in the past 2020, there had been an over optimistic atmosphere with TAMs in the trillions even for niche industries. Press has to uncover negativity in the corporate world and positivity in the non-profit world. Everything else has an agenda.

They have their good journalists leave. That platform will die a slow death soon

These guys are permanently negative. Tries to bring negative of any company.

Well researched? Ha.. they write really banal stuff. They keep complimenting each other on twitter saying "deeply researched" and people fall for it. Ken plays the same trick. These are amateurs who cant find the real issues in a balance sheet.. good gossip-finders though. Their info about the dirty tricks by some startups and VCs are spot on.

Read ET prime or Ken.
TMC just thrives on negativity.
I mean when was the last time they published something good about Indian startups?

True negativity sells, but at the same having a counter intuitive is not bad.. so i think they have become part of that tribe. it's good if someone can share how can i read their articles which paying to them (haan haan vahi avg indian user 🌝)
