Threw away my Apple Watch and started eating ice cream. I've never been healthier.
Too many people are obsessed with Apple Watch rings, Zone 2 cardio, and macros. i have been one of them for years.
I looked fit, but never "felt" great. I was body conscious, insecure, and running on empty. The worst part was that despite eating well and working out, depression (very rarely) and anxiety (not very rarely) would hit me out of nowhere.
If my deep sleep % dropped or I missed a workout, my whole day would feel like its derailed.
About 5 months ago, I changed this. I stopped using my Apple watch except for workouts. Stopped tracking sleep. Stopped counting calories on myfitnesspal.
I brought junk back into my life. I eat ice cream a few times a week now. I grab a beer and pizza with friends. Zero guilt.
I read through some spiritual/philosophical books and realized one basic truth: we've completely forgotten how to listen to our bodies. Have the junk, have fun, but just pay attention. Know when you're bloated. Notice the acidity. Stop when you're full. We've all just stopped doing that.
It's been 5 months of living like this. I'm the happiest and most energetic I've ever been. My anxiety is practically gone.
And I hit my personal best in a 10K run last Sunday.
Stop being stuck up about things. Eat a scoop of ice cream. Just listen to your body, be happy, you'll be fine.
NOTE: Some of you will say "if i listen to my body" I will eat junk non stop. That's your mind, not your body. Actually try listneing to your body, how it feels. The mind is very different and is programmed to store calories when it sees them.

Very difficult to reach this stage
But when u do ur the master
Feels so better 💪

Thank you 🙏 Honestly, life has felt much more easier once I started seeing it this way
Getting to this clarity was the hard part. All I can say is, read something that speaks to you, and always be present - it's cliched but does work

I know this sounds like eating junk or whatever solved my life problems, now that I re read this. It isn't that straightforward.
But it's: i learnt to live easy -> that meant i was okay with some fun without feeling like it will end me -> i felt happier -> i am doing better in life

Overload of 'fun' is root of the problem.

Help a fellow mate here who finds it difficult to just "start doing workouts"

Don't focus on workout goals. Just focus on being consistent. Just appear everyday at your gym. You may not feel like doing a workout, don't do it. Just sleep on a yoga mat and come back.😂 But, just appear everyday.

But how do you cope with that version of you who wants to overeat and overindulge? Or did you never have that version?

I did the reverse, stopped eating junk and started tracking metrics, and I feel much healthier and happier.
I guess whatever works for you

I notice my husband has been cheating on me with different messages thankfully my friend gave me a reliable contact, he works with discretion and delivers, he hacked into his phone forwarding all out going and incoming messages into my phone, he does all sort of hacks, access to social networks, icloud, and many more. Viber chats hack, Facebook messages and yahoo messengers remotely, call phone GPs location tracking, spy on whats app messages i would prefer to let his service speak for itself, he can also improve credit cards his service are cheap you can contact him at {hacksecrete@gmail. c o m} WhatsApp or text him on +17742029445 if you have a similar issue and tell him i referred you to him. you can also reach him if you're not able to withdraw your funds from any online trading platform like expert-option,cal financial, Analyst , coinspot, Ctxprime and many more

Feeling sad or depressed is very different then actual depression. Almost like day and night. People use depression on the drop of hat.

Feels great to read something positive for a change.
Otherwise internet has become a place where people only rant about things which are not working out for them.

Nice to hear that you have returned to your body. All the very best 👍
