A joke no matter bad, perverse, lame or even dumb, shouldn't put 5-6 sections of the law against someone. As the joke clearly did not offend any one person or group directly
People in India don't understand what a joke is and what is not.
Vast demography on social media who gets offended are uncle and aunties and some bhakts, so getting so many sections on a joke doesn't sounds strange to me as everyone wants to prove that they are "samaajsudharak" to get attention.
But the same joke has happened in india in 2015. No one had an issue then. Its more of everyone wants a piece of attention. My opinion
