The Curse of Being a QE
Feeling in my job even after clearing all the interview rounds for my company 3 different internal job postings for a switch from QE to DEV no success!
Every eFing time the hiring manager says something like we need someone who is more exp in the tech that we are hiring for. I feel like jumping across the table and slapping them.
I have clearly cleared all your technical skills rounds.
Literally: 2 DSA questions in 30 minutes.
Out of 10 rounds i gave i cleared 9 still no offer success feels so far!
Now I’m exhausted. Idk what should be my steps. There for I want to ask my senior ls here what are the next steps and also to let out the steam a little.

On a lighter note.
I do see a silver lining in your case.
30 LPA at 3 years experience is not bad at all
Especially for a QE profile in a service based company

It’s product based!
Lie... I did same

Can you explain

After cooling down a bit releasing what in wrote doesn’t makes much sense here’s a cleaner version:
Feeling stuck in my role, even after clearing all the interview rounds for three different internal job postings across three different teams at my company while trying to switch from QE to DEV - still no success.
Every single time, the hiring manager says something like: “We need someone with more experience in the specific tech stack we’re hiring for.”
It’s incredibly frustrating I’ve consistently proven my technical skills.
For instance: 2 DSA questions in 30 minutes, cleared with ease.
For 4 teams 3 interviews each.
Flunked 1 interview for a team
Out of 10 interview rounds I gave, I cleared 9 and yet, no offer. Success still feels out of reach.
Now I’m mentally drained. I’m reaching out to ask: Seniors, what should be my next steps? Also just needed to vent and let out some steam
