I was on a Google meet at 8:30 PM on a Friday. The product head was literally screaming about some metric drop.

I looked at his face on the screen and realized he is 38, looks 50, and this is his entire life yaar.. I muted myself and just stared at my keyboard. Idk it just suddenly hit me that if I stay at this place I'm going to end up exactly like him. Losing my shit over a dashboard while my actual life disappears.

Mentally I was completely out right then. Put in my papers two weeks later.
