Switching from hardware to software after being in Physical design for 1 year
One of my friend is working in a well known MNC as a physical design engineer for 1 year. But he wants to try and switch to software. He is happy with his work but is not happy with the salary and is thinking about his our friends earning more than him in software. He is also pretty decent and thinks he can do well in DSA and other SD developments if he gives it sometime. He wants to interact with someone who made that switch. Would love some insights on this!!
