Survived a car crash

I brought a SUV recently , but due to my travels i wasn’t able to use it much. Slowly and steadily i was learning driving. However today i had to travel from Hyderabad to bengaluru so i decided to tale the car with paid chauffer.

And he slept and rammed the car into truck. Airbags deployed on car that has run less than 2000km and the whole body broke. Thankfully cars and not mine.

But as i sat in that tow truck and got it towed to bengaluru and lied to mother on phone how car ride is going smoothly with chauffer. I realized

  1. Life can end any moment

  2. Years of hardwork to get out of middle class and yet life and circumstances can bring you back to it with no fault of yours.

  3. You handle most of the life experiences alone so why not enjoy it alone too?

  4. Your parents love you most.

  5. Do those things you’re delaying - do the trek, code that game, learn future and options, apply at google.

  6. People are kind and helpful but be careful.

  7. I will die climbing a mountain and at no less.

  8. Life is very short.

Haha just random thoughts or something.

Glad you are doing ok.
I had very bad stomach ache 3 yrs back. After initial analysis dr said it looks cancerous.
That day I came home walking 4km with my husband crying all the way.
Crying that y I didn't live my life to the fullest, y was I always behind job, salary, ratings.
My life was blured I couldn't remember doing anything worthwhile. Luckily after surgery biopsy came as non cancerous. Bit it was a tough time.

@Toffeefriendly glad it was not cancer . And surely tough times end but they teach us a lot.

Why we all are alone and we talk good about people in a encrypted way here those we don’t know. But in real life we have lot many friends and relatives but no one likes your progress and in bad times everyone comes for couple of hours for formality but really no one stand beside you. If we are really progressing in society or really became so selfish.. How this can be fixed not getting answers……….

this is especially true with bikes more than cars, I keep telling this to all my friends, especially some genre of bikes you can’t ride when older. Glad for you, it will be so fun. Ride Safe!

Were you sleeping too? If yes then that's quite a careless attitude from your side. Having a driver doesn't mean you can blindfold. Was the driver tired and didn't sleep properly before?

JumpyTaco
JumpyTaco

No, but i was checking the phone with head down yes

and yeah i was playing sunder kand which has a soothing effect and that driver ate dosa on morning at some stop, leading to all this.

But yeah we should keep engaging the driver to keep him up, that i didn’t do

A bit radical , don't you think god is the reason for the accident?

2 cents from me
1)First learn to drive properly "in the city" In starting try in open roads or grounds slowly in more traffic areas or times slowly gain confidence see which wheel is where get the feel of the car from driver and other side
2)never drive on highways 🛣 if you are not confident
3)this i follow in my personal life just as a precaution , dont drive in night time i.e. After 7 pm unless its your profession or you are professional
4)avoid road travel as much as possible coz you have to compensate for everyone's mistake around you
5)the thing my dad taught to assume everyone around you is blind and deaf , so watch out for real

@CraftySchool i have been following the point 5 and 1 , i will still go and practice more when car is back from showroom.

Thank you.

Recently my Bestest best friend died suddenly ... she had an ankle surgery last month and was recovering smoothly... Until one day she started suffering from breathlessness and collapsed... She was rushed to the nearest hospital where they tried to relive her but sadly they were unable to...She had pulmanory embolism i.e. there was a clot that had formed in deep vein and it travelled to her lungs... And unfortunately/fortunately i was in the same town and went for the funeral... I dont think I will ever forget the pain of losing her but also the family's suffering... My heart still goes out to the people she has left behind.... It was life changing experience for me personally due to the loss in my life and also the perspective of what stays behind regret remorse love with sufferings...

Glad you are doing good to post your incident on grapevine. Jokes apart. I hope you're doing your best now, best to take a full body scan.. before proceeding further. I had a terrible accident rammed into a transformer farm and luckily escaped with no injuries, although the car succumbed to fire and burst. It felt like a Hollywood movie in real life without a double body. Years later, I had a fluid leakage and doctors couldn't find out where it was leaking out. So I'm clueless as to how it occurs, when I bend my head, fluid will drain out of my nose. Please don't risk it. Your loved ones are waiting for..
