I gave up on investing myself and just hired a PMS.

Top depends a lot on investment duration. I made a lot of money in ICICI, MRF, Mazgaon Dock. However the list isn't the same even for me and my wife. She's made a lot of money in sugar stocks like balrampur whereas I lost money in those.

In general over a long term, etfs are better than individual stock.
