🎯 Roles:

1. Founding Senior Backend Engineer
   • 6+ YOE, 50-60 LPA Base + ESOPs
2. Founding Backend Engineer
   • 2-5 YOE, 25-40 LPA Base + ESOPs (SDE2/early SDE3 folks)

Perfect for someone who:

• Has built at-scale backend systems at either Big-tech or population-scale consumer platforms in delivery/commerce/streaming/mobility
• Is proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS; has strong SQL skills and is familiar with real-time audio/video proficiency
• Evidence of ownership in past projects is a big plus

What you’ll do:
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain the backend systems that power our AI tutor. You’ll work at the intersection of AI infrastructure, distributed systems, and real-time data processing—shaping the technology and the team as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure & Architecture: Design and scale distributed systems for real-time speech processing. Own data pipelines from ingestion to model serving. Ensure security, privacy, and compliance for user speech data.
• Performance & Reliability: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting for 24x7 availability. Optimize system performance and scalability.
