SOS prep 101 : Go bag

Came across this concept a while ago that's very handy - having a Go bag for emergencies

It's useful for natural disasters, domestic violence, panic situations etc. Also handy for impromptu weekend travel plans with less time to pack.

All your essentials needed to survive in one small handy back pack. Important to be light weight, so only essentials.

  1. Mini first aid kit - bandages, Dettol and medical tape. Paracetamol/Allegra and painkillers. Hand sanitizer. Toothbrush and toothpaste/mouthwash bottle. Soap/paper soap.

  2. Apparel - Two pairs of clean, thin cotton clothes+inners that can be rolled up into balls and compressed easily. One jacket. Socks, 2-3 pairs.

  3. Power Bank. Phone Charger. Cash, anywhere from 2-5k. Old but functional phone+sim if you have spare one.

  4. Food - dry snacks only, long expiry (will need to be checked and replaced). Dry fruit and dried/preserved snacks preferably. No liquids at all except water bottle, can't risk leaking into bag so keep a well sealed bottle.

  5. Self defence - pepper spray/baton/tazer. Tazer is best and lightweight. More useful as a deterrent, just turning it on is loud enough to scare animals and people both.

Basically- having a small bag you can pick up and run with, without thinking twice about whether you have everything you need or not. But yes, important to keep it maintained and stocked, in a handy place you can access easily.

Hope it helps ✌️

Skynet is coming anyways, best prepare for judgement day lol
