So Unacademy fires Karan Sangwan, just because he asked people to choose educated leaders. What exactly is wrong in what he said here? It was not against any political party per se.

But then Sanghis get so rattled when any one talks about having educated leaders. First it was poor Kajol, now its Karan Sangwan , neither of them took any name per se, but that was enough for Sanghis to pounce on them, troll them endlessly and even doxx them.

Tbh, he should have kept his politics aside from his job. One can easily see from his twitter profile that he supports 1 political party. He should have refrained from mixing job with his personal preference. In western countries there are contract points which mention that if the Employee/worker/celebrity comes out with such kind of stunts, the contract can be terminated.
Also, it was peak laziness on his behalf, saying that you should not vote a party who changes law, because he has to make notes again... isn't his job to make the notes?

Completely agree with the last line.

Stop spamming man.

Anyone who has watched the clip can figure out what he was saying. He had three things:

  1. He was pissed because he had to make notes again now that the laws have changed.
  2. He said vote for educated people who don't just change laws because they can or change names. What this insinuates is obvious. That those who changed the law are uneducated. And who reformed the laws? One political party.
  3. He did not provide any reason to why the law reforms weren't good or raise any valid reason against them. As such, these were his personal opinions and his biased opinions.

Conclusion: As an educator, his job is to provide both sides of the argument and let students decide for themselves. Not bring his personal opinion in.

Last, it doesn't matter how many times you and your ilk claim that he was fired for asking students to vote for 'educated' leaders but it doesn't really take education to understand his bias and who he called uneducated.
