Silent layoffs at MediBuddy

Something’s brewing at MediBuddy, and it’s not looking too healthy.

Insiders say the company is quietly trimming down its mid-level leadership, especially in the tech team, while training their juniors to fill in the gaps. PIPs are flying around and instead of one big layoff wave, the exits are being spread out over time to avoid headlines.

Why? Reportedly, the goal is to become EBITDA positive, a classic cost-cutting move disguised as “performance management.”

This isn’t the first time either. Back in January 2023, MediBuddy had already laid off around 100–200 employees, and now, the pattern seems to be repeating, only this time, quietly.

Officially, it’s business as usual. Unofficially, it’s a slow-motion layoff.
