15% are being given Below Expectations rating and are being offered mutual seperation with 3 Months salary.

The mid year ratings are supposed to just give a direction but this year's layoff is happening on its basis.

My two cents is when have we not been in the middle of something since the mid 2022 its been 2 years now and things still look the same as they did 2 years ago.

Tech unfortunately is moving closer to other high paying professions like finance/consulting/big law firms with insane work pressure and long hours. It was nice while it lasted On a side note - a bunch of colleagues currently have Meta interviews lined up lol
