North Sikkim Trip
Has anyone been to Sikkim , especially North Sikkim. Planning a trip to North Sikkim, and hence any leads for good tourist agencies or any other relevant suggestion is welcome.
hey folks, Is anyone based out of Sikkim or ever been to it? I wanted to know which parts should be ideal to visit under 3 days in December? I heard North south east and west Sikkim are different worlds in themselves.
North Sikkim is best.... Cover Lachen, Lachung, Yum thang valley and Guru Dongmar Lake ... Will take 2 nights, 3 days...
Thanks yo! Will it be accessible late December?
Yes, I went to North Sikkim during Christmas 2022.... Was accessible during that time.... But due to heavy snowfall , Guru Dongmar lake became inaccessible in first week of January 2023.... You can check latest status via cab driver +91 96357 30735) we hired then
North Sikkim may not be open this year due to the Teesta Floods.
You can still enjoy the other three districts.
East and West are open and have beautiful places.
@Jack3d, I had been to Sikkim April this year and despite APR Nathula was closed due to heavy snowfall so if you ask me Lachunh may be closed for tourists during December if Snowfall happens, I would suggest consider Namchi is your iteinary
Thanks a lot!
zero point, china border, changu lake
Guru Dongmar lake is a must if you’re going to Sikkim. Please plan accordingly

Hi, I reside near Delhi. I was thinking of going on a solo trip on New Year. There's an extended weekend from 30th December to 1st January. Any suggestions where to go during this time and where to stay. Would want some economic ideas.
I am looking for suggestions for a 3-4 days holiday trip in South or West India on around 22nd December. I just don't want to chill but also do some activities like trekking or kayaking etc.
