Should I redeem quant mutual fund?

I have stopped my SIPs in quant mutual funds as the returns looks unrealistic as no other fund is close to it.

My question is, should I redeem? Given that I am investing for long term.

If I am not doing the SIPs now and the fund performs negative, will it affect my returns too? I don’t know the NAV concept.

Would you care to post the MF name, current value & invested value for better response?

You basically want to time the market+are uncertain about Quants' returns.

You cannot time the market, not always anyway. So better to keep the SIP going since you're looking at a long term horizon.

As for Quant, maybe diversify a bit. Liquidate a bit of quant and invest in a fund of some other company.

NAV is akin to Market Price of a stock. NAV falls your returns fall, NAV rises you gain. If a fund performs poorly, NAV falls, your return falls.

To answer your last paragraph question, Yes it will affect your return too.

P.S.- Amusing to see you got off-put by unrealistic high return!!
