Should I List Startup Work as Projects on my Resume?

Hey all, I’m a recent grad (CS) looking for my first full-time tech role. During uni (from second year), I worked with three early-stage startups where founders had just an idea. I treated these like my own projects—built core features, coded, and helped shape them. They are even generating revenue now.

Problem is, this left me with only two (or a few) personal projects, and my resume feels thin with just those. Should I list my startup contributions as “projects” on my resume to show my skills? Or does that look misleading? How do I frame this work to stand out to recruiters without overselling? Has anyone done this as a fresher, and how did it go?

Also, do recruiters value startup hustle or just want to see GitHub repos? Any tips appreciated!

Yes i did get certificate from them. And i have added them under experience too. It's just...that my projects section is lackluster.
