Should I join Lululemon with 50 LPA +20% variable offer? Currently at JPMC with 35LPA +4L variable (9+ YOE)
Currently at JPMC with 10 years of experience, making 35 LPA fixed + 4L variable Got an offer from Lululemon for 50 LPA fixed +20% variable..
Is it worth switching? How’s work-life balance, stability, tech stack, and growth at Lululemon? Would appreciate any advice!
I’m wondering if it makes sense from a career and stability perspective. I’m trying to evaluate: • Work-life balance • Job security (especially since Lululemon is more retail-focused, not traditional tech) • Growth opportunities • Brand value in the long run (in case I want to switch later) • Team and tech stack quality
Would love to hear thoughts from anyone who has worked at Lululemon or knows about their tech org. Also, if you were in my shoes, would you take it?

🤣🤣

It's consistently among top 3 sports brands in the world. Sports retail in general tends to be good culture, plus you're in tech so that's additional chilled out culture. Definitely going to be better than tech in finance.
Go for it without thought.
PS: Don't listen to degens who are calling the name girly. They have no clue how big the brand is.
Congratulations!

Forgot to add, after you join, switching to other renowned retail brands, esp in apparel/sports will become a cake walk. Think Adidas/Puma/Nike.

nice try HR

Go for it. Corporate mein money is the most sacrosanct thing you should run after

Thanks i learned a new word today.

Unrelated question but what is your tech stack?

Java aws react sql..

Apun money bhai k liye kaam karta h

Where is the doubt? Looks like jpmc has been too good for you and hence you want to stick around. Otherwise, increment is worth taking the risk.

Only one thing to consider is the domain switch. With 9 YoE, if you are too in depth into finance domain in JPMC then you may want to think, else this is definitely a better offer. Lululemon is a giant, plus since you are in Tech, it's like working in product based. Go for it.

What’s the technology?

Java backend
