Should I join Accenture

Hi All, Need inputs from accenture folks. I have recently got the offer from accenture. Role: Bus and Technology Delivery specialist (level 9) CTC: 19.7 fixed + 5.3 Variable

CCTC: 15.2 fixed + 1 Variable

I need suggestions if I should join Accenture. I am an MBA from tier 2 college and have 3 years of experience as a BA and 3 years before MBA as a marketing professional.

The role they have provided is under the BA family.

  1. What would be the approx in hand here
  2. Is the job level 9 to join with 3 years of experience after MBA

Accenture and 5.3 lakh variable is nothing but pure scam. Max 1.2 lakhs you will receive so don't fall for that 5.3 lakh variable.

I was offered 7 lakh variable by Accenture but when I checked with my friends working in Accenture they said max you will receive 2 lakh so don't get hyped up by looking at Accenture's numbers in offer letter.

Make a decision only based on the Fix amount.

Thanks, deciding on the basis of fixed only. Want to check if accenture provides more than 30% or they are rigid on that

joined ACT 2021 at Level 9 at 17 LPA, still at level 9 no hike no promotion, Variable pay never went more than 8% and its same with 80% of Accenture people :)

My friend got 21%, 15%, 15% so that depends on the BU. If money is not there then 7-8% is lowest. But yes it's never the full amount

My 2 cents:

  • CTC: Please think of variable as a miracle. It may or may not happen. The only real number is the Fixed when it comes to Accenture

  • Culture: More money may not lead to more happiness. I quit Accenture within my probation period to avoid having to serve notice period because of toxicity. You may want to enquirer with some existing Accenture employees about the culture of your BA function to make sure you donโ€™t feel frustrated (assuming your current org keeps you happy & emotionally satisfied)

  • Negotiate: If you are comfortable in your current org with everything except the CTC I suggest you negotiate with them based on this offer in hand. My experience of approximately 15 years says that even if they can offer you 10% less than the new offer, you should stay as you have relationships, you know how to resolve issues easily and may find it easier to work in familiar settings.

My feedback is purely based on my personal experiences and also under the assumption that you are happy with the culture of your current org.
Good luck with the decision.

I have same package and no base pay rise since 2 years

Here in my current org I have been working on the same pay for the last 3 years. So if they are even ready to promote me the increment would be 15% still a difference of 15% on the fixed part alone.
