Shift to Dubai for better life
Im having 9yrs of experience as a web developer in Pune and I just went for 1w trip to Dubai. Its Outstanding! Swear by God!
Planning to seek out a job there.
Will it be the best decision considering I'm having a stable job at Infosys.
I want to settle and have a family there and live a life of very high standards.

I'm choosing to ignore your last statement about India unlike other triggered people in the comments and answering the actual question.
Reasons to move:
- 0 tax
- In general higher paying jobs but also higher cost of living (You need to evaluate this basis the offer you get compare it with your current salary after PPP)
- Better quality of life (Road safety, Infra)
- Opens more easier avenues to travel around Europe
Reasons to stay
- Parents ( Now you'd say I plan to visit or come back but no one I know till today has come back despite having crores of savings.
- Friends and social circle established here over the years
- Few rules in Dubai are stricter than that of India's (You have to figure out these differences and if they work for you)
To me there seems to more upside than there is downside in moving to Dubai however both my spouse and I decided to never shift out of India for our parents.

Kya behteren articulation h apka

No doubt Dubai's infra and other amenities is world-class and absolutely no harm in seeking better opportunities.
But calling the country where you lived your life 'sh**', is being ungrateful and disrespectful.
No doubt India has its flaws and it definitely is not a perfect country.
It's okay to seek out better opportunities and move to location that will make you happy and provide a better life to your family.
But always remember, when things go haywire, it is this 'sh**' India that will come to your rescue.
Kuwait, Ukraine, Yemen, examples are aplenty.

Noted!

💯

You work at Infosys and you think by shifting to dubai you could live a life of high standards ? This app is pure comedy 🤣
Bhai pehle yaha to high life standards achieve karle. You haven't done it here and now calling India shit.

Correct .. the person who is telling India shit is pure idiot .. Jai hind

Houthis will say hi in a few years. Enjoy with houthis

Houthis are rebels from Yemen if am not wrong ..and Dubai is no where close to supporting them .. irrespective of them being Arabs .
Dubai just worships money and white folks
Infact they despise those people

Saudi, Yemen, UAE, Iran are all involved in the conflict in Yemen. Wait for entire Middle East to burn

Sorry for my comments on India. Im taking it back. But still I feel it has got a lot of ground to cover.

To lawde post del kr naa

To err is human. Grapevine don't have a feature to edit the post ? Is it not possible to edit and remove the last before line of your post ?
Jai Hind.

I was considering moving to Dubai just a couple of months ago for works.
Reasons I considered:
- No income tax
- Better infrastructure and lifestyle
- New country, new experiences
- Good network
- close to India, can travel back and forth easily
Why I didn’t go with it:
- Cost of living is very high. What I’m saving on taxes, I’ll end up spending on rent, utilities, etc. To have the same lifestyle I have in India, I’ll be spending about 2 lakhs a month there and I’m actually very frugal on my day to day expenses.
- Plenty of Indians but spent a month there and still felt out of place

What is your profile like?

5 years of experience, growth in a startup with 40 employees with 13 of them in Dubai.

Bhai tu Infosys main hai vo bi web developer, kha se itna confidence leke aa rha hai🫠.

People like this take full advantage of the Indian Government schemes and benefits and then bitch them. Anti-nationals like this should be tackled by the government bring down to knee and debar them from India.

can you articulate, scheme of the indian government for working professionals?

I went there last year and god damn it’s so attractive. A high paying job in Dubai would be amazing really.
