Wise is cheap. They show an exchange rate with some markup. The markup is lower. In the background they utilize a sort of legal hawala mechanism.

Not really, what platforms are you using? There's no fee in P2P and usually crypto to fiat gives you a higher rate anyway, so the small fee is off set
