Seeking clarification on offer acceptance
Recently i got an offer from cognizant for CTC 14.5 LPA. It's Hyderabad based and rotational shifts. Just before receiving this offer letter, PwC reached out to me regarding their open position. And it's bangalore based. General Shifts based on Indian Standard time(I'm aware i might need to login beyond working hours also).
My question is, my offer with cognizant will be active till may 13. What if I accept it now and don't join cognizant? In the offer letter they have mentioned they will not consider me for future roles if i sign and don't join.
Did you face any such scenario and how did you tackle it?
Moreover the consultancy that bought me the opening is asking me to accept it now and go for another company, as bgv will be done by the US for cognizant and it takes time.
What should I do ? Accept it and proceed with other interviews or let it wait?
If you don't want to resign, not sure why you went ahead with the interview. You can deny it.
I need a switch, but I'm not sure how to tackle my situation. Without offer I resigned first as no one is willing to wait for the 90 day notice period. Then i secured cognizant offer. Now I'm in the last 3 weeks of the notice period.
