Seeking Advice: Transitioning from mobile dev to BE

Has anyone successfully transitioned from mobile development (iOS/Android) to backend development? If so, how did you do it, what were the main challenges you faced during this transition, and how did you overcome them?

It’s always easier to do it within your own company, start picking up small backend tasks. Overtime you will be able to handle more complex tasks and essentially become full stack.

Then you have an option of asking your team to completely switch to backend - if you wish to. If they pushback, you can always jump ship and tell the next place you mostly worked backend in your previous gig.
