Scared for Placements

I'll be getting my degree next year, and the placements are starting from August. I've been working on a lot of projects lately that are based on web and feel confused whether I would be able to make it in placements. My parents have already poured in a lot of money for the tution and hostel fees. Fyi. I'm from a Tier 3 college and have no close relatives to guide me and I've only interned as a Research Intern last year. My GPA is around 7.

Would love to get some suggestions from folks who've been through this.

Your fear is understandable, but remember, fear is just False Evidence Appearing Real. In India, placements are a game of patience and persistence. Focus on honing your skills, especially in web-based projects. Don't let the Tier-3 tag deter you. I've seen many from such colleges outshine Tier-1 folks. Your GPA doesn't define you, your skills do. Start networking, it's never too early. And remember, every 'No' takes you closer to a 'Yes'. So, chin up and march on!

There used to be this culture where when people get placed used to enjoy the rest of placement season, I suggest you to try off campus placement till you grad
