Salesforce MTS, how much do you ask for offer?
Current yearly compensation Oracle - 51.4 LPA (stocks have risen too much 😶)
The last I spoke to them I told them my current is 45 on average considering a 90 day moving average for stock price.
I had asked for 50+ and they were a bit hesitant. Internally I have heard the band goes till 65, and I also have seen some similar numbers on levels.fyi

Tips please sir….DSA from where and any other resources please.

Just do leetcode my friend. DSA to the level where most companies will get cracked isn’t that hard.
Pickup a sheet like Neetcode 250 and do all the questions in order of difficulty or topic wise. That’d be more than enough. Keep doing this alongside daily questions and contests and you’ll have around 400-500 good questions done

Yeah Thanks bro..I do have around 500 problems solved.. Just out of practice. Will pull out Neetcode 250 to get back in form. Congrats btw🥂

Their cash component (base + variable) for MTS is at max 40 I guess. RSUs can be negotiable buy per annum on avg it might be 10 lakhs vested. Idk if you will get more than 50 overall CTC.

I’m hoping 50 is a good enough number. I’m in the 3rd/4 iterations of stock rollouts here at Oracle, so I want to leave before it’s too late. I know it’s not much of an upside but I can always switch again.
Got Uber interviews next week, let’s see how that goes, but Salesforce is definitely a good backup in the worst case.

How is work at Oracle though? Considering a switch from GS

Choose something in OCI, work and pay is insanely good. Oracle is emerging as a top company, the stocks are soaring, and growth is really good.
I don’t know about GS, but I tried associate and they said they won’t pay me as much my current comp. For 3-4 YOE I have seen 60+ first year packages from Oracle if your prev comp is good.
So overall great choice. But do confirm about the team before joining. Some teams are bad everywhere

Thanks for this. Any idea how Oracle health is? Recruiter reached out so needed some idea.

Most of the times, it is the demand budget approval which drives the hiring, packages, etc. if you are in product based company while for the service based, it's the client MSA and client budget approval. College name tags matter only at the time of campus hiring. Of course, there can be some exception approvals for some niche skill requirement. I find it amusing when people don't discuss this basic aspect of demand management and contract management.

Would like to know from experienced demand level managers or portfolio managers from these product based companies, if they are willing to share some insights.. if they are there on this platform.
