Salary expectation for 12 yoe principal Engineer
What salary can I expect ? I have 12 years exp , currently working as a principal Engineer in a startup in bangalore. My current ctc is around 37lpa which based on the market looks a lot less.
This is eating into my productivity and as such I am looking for a job change. Any pointers on what I can ask?

You can definitely go above 60 LPA.
When going into any such meeting please carry a couple days points from salaries you have seen before or heard of.
Tell them that you confidently that this is the range you are hoping for and would make you happy
