Saaspay or Scampay?
Has anyone here had a run-in with the guy behind Saaspay? Met him recently through a friend — absolutely wild stuff. The things he says in public are next-level delusional, and now he’s apparently building something in quick commerce and somehow getting funded again?
When I met him, he said he personally knows the Blinkit and Zepto founders, and now his team is going around saying that both companies are investors in his new venture. No proof, of course — just bold claims with nothing to show for it.
He also says he owns houses in Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune, drives a Porsche, and was about to get married internationally. Claims to have sold his first startup to Blinkit, his second one (Sawo) to some US company, and now Saaspay to another US buyer — like it’s a pattern.
He constantly brags about being well-connected to politicians, top founders, and media people — but again, zero evidence to back any of it.
Did some deep digging and found out he’s never paid his employees on time, hasn’t deposited PF, fakes company financials and acquisitions, and even scams investors.
And now he’s building his new startup with his ex-teammates. Honestly, it’s starting to feel like they’re running a whole racket together.
The guy’s history is sketchy af, and it’s wild how no one talks about this openly.

My concern’s the same. Was approached by their team to onboard us on these Q-commerce platforms. Still can’t get assurances whether they are the right kind of people or kot

Totally get where you’re coming from — my friend had a similar experience. On the surface, it all sounds polished and promising, but the deeper you look, the more red flags pop up. Lots of big claims, little transparency. Honestly, the lack of clarity around their background and track record makes it really hard to trust what’s being pitched.
