Retirement age in IBM USA

Is there no fixed retirement age in IBM USA? In India I know its 58 years of age. The reason I ask is, my technical architect who is in USA did his B-Tech in 1987… so ideally… he will be almost 60 now, but still going strong.

There is no fixed retirement age in the private sector, even in india. If you have the skills needed, you'll be employed. In case there are some clauses, then one can be hired as a consultant for the same project
