Just wanted to check One of the friends of my girlfriend is doing MBA from MDI Gurgaon in HR. She recently got internship at GSK Bangalore. Do they really pay 1.2 lpm for MBA HR interns ? If so then what is the salary range ?

Yeah MNC's pay this much , MBA in Human Resource is quite lucrative now and if you are doing it from tier-1 clg you can expect a package of 20-25 lacks.

That’s one part of the story. The other side is that you need to pay at-least 20–25 L for two year MBA in these colleges.

Yes that’s there but with such high salary.. Won’t it be recovered in approx 2 years ?

Yep this much pay is to be expected. Future pay should also be good

Can you tell me Approx what’s the in-hand salary when they join full time if you are aware of it?

You can expect 1.5 L per month as a fresher if you have completed your MBA from a borderline tier-1 clg and for IIM A/B/C you can expect more than 2L as fixed component per month

1.2 must be below average for the batch. This used to average in 2017/2018.

ITC used to pay 1.5 lpm in 2017

What’s the usual pay for other streams of MBA?

Mostly on similar lines unless you are creme de la creme of A/B/C/L/ISB/XL.

There’s no such standard. All depends on experience and skills and luck of course.
