Google said more than 30% of code is generated by ai and hence did the recent layoffs.

What they don't know is rest 70% might still be generated by ai and stackoverflow.

This is a norm.

Every new technology is hyped to be disruptive, it only helps to build stuff easier, some tech replaces old jobs with new one. Look for oppertunities

More layoffs yet to come 😞. Major issue with AI compared with past technological development is, most of the past dev required human intervention in some form. And right now AI is trying to reduce that human intervention part that is most concerning/scary part

Yes, AI is replacing jobs—especially in:

Content/Copywriting (ChatGPT handles blogs, product descriptions)

Customer Support (Chatbots replaced 30-50% roles in some firms)

Basic Coding (AI autocompletes code, reducing junior dev demand)

Data Entry (RPA + AI cut 60% roles in back-office ops)

The key? Upskill where AI struggles—problem-solving, strategy, and human touch roles.
