Reached 20L at 27 age
My total net worth reached 21 lakhs yesterday. I feel like I am worthless now. People my age are having 50L to 1 cr. I stepped into the IT industry at 23. I started my package at 3.5 lpa and now I am currently getting 9 lpa. My target is to hit 40 L at 30. I don't want to marry anymore based on the current market scenario. Please suggest whether I can do anything better to improve me.
Note: please don't provide any suggestions on marrying as I don't feel that I comfortably take care of my family plus I have some private health issues that my partner will suffer because of that.

Bro chillax i am 26, and i got 3k savings

Jinka accha hota hai... Vahi post karte hai ki unka salary kitna hogaya...
That's why we mostly see posts like - Have achieved this much in this age etc etc.
Most of the people with normal salary and saving won't posts their salary/savings figures as it's not exciting.

It's not like that brother. Whenever I try to console myself with my savings, other harsh realities would provoke me and make myself think that I am worthless

I'm 29 years with negative 20lakhs (got car loan ) with 1 lakh savings in MF

Very bad bro. Try to live like a minimalist. That's gonna save you from this cruel era. Don't fall into the emi trap.
@StridentAwe08 I started working at the age of 22 with a package of 4.9 and now I am at 7 lpa at the age of 25
I have a saving of 50k
How did you manage to hit 20L, how much were you saving or you were active in stocks early on ?

Tbh I don't spend that much i invested in chit funds in my local village and also investing mf since 2023

What you can’t improve is your health issue ( assuming it cannot be cured ) but what you can improve is your salary, i’m also 27 but net-worth of what 5-6 lacs in total, i’ve been working in tech since 21yo, my whole friend circle earns at least 3 lacs per month post tax, what i can do now is prepare for a switch, a big jump, it won’t happen overnight but i feel few months would be fine, just need to be more consistent, so i would suggest you to do the same, enjoy the journey take breaks when you feel burned out, bro you manage to save 21 lacs while being on 9lpa tops annddd you are taking care of your family too, you are already doing great, don’t be discouraged by seeing other people’s packages, rather take motivation and prepare for switch.

Social media is fake and generally biased. Not one person brags about not having any savings or low savings.
Maybe this would help with your perspective

You need to upskill, switch, do a side hustle

Ik 30 year olds making 40k a month and i know 19 year old folks making 400k a month

I’m 28+ male. Earning less than 10lpa… Stop comparing…
