Because it's not profitable. 40 LPA, post tax will be close to 30LPA. Work for 10 years you have 4 cr in savings. T1 makes you eligible and premium candidate in the marriage market. That means an additional source of money.
You can literally retire in 10 years. Being a T1 also favours in employment. You get special treatment. Employers will hire you just for that.

You can literally become rich without any of the risk associated with being an entrepreneur.

Two kinds of people become entrepreneurs-

  1. The ones who couldn't find a job
  2. The ones who couldn't sustain in a job.

I have several friends with tier 1 mba degrees. I'm old, so they are from Ahmedabad, Bangalore and Joka. I don't know what's tier 1 today for mba.

None of them would create a poll to understand their place in the Gaussian curve. They know how to get the data instead of opinions.
