What is your monthly in hand (post taxes and all) for 23 LPA ? And which regime did you opt for ?

TwirlyJellybean
TwirlyJellybean

Opted for thenew regime. So I am working in a small Web3 startup which has about 8 people, and hence there isn't any PF deduction. Post tax in hand is roughly 20.16 LPA

It does not matter ๐Ÿ™ƒ, as long as you can buy what ever you need
Apart from that pretty good imo

Beyond 1 lpm post taxes, salary doesn't matter. You can be slow and steady at 25lpa, or be like the rabbit at 70lpa. WLB, WFH/Remote flexibility, project quality matters more beyond 20lpa.

Yeah, totally. I honestly enjoy the work to the point where I don't feel the Monday Blues. My seniors are really chill, as they are not one of those micromanaging type. My current role isn't WFH based, which is surprisingly a bit odd for a Web3 role as 90% are either local or global remote, but due to some personal issues, I was okay with it and the core idea of the startup

Why it doesn't matter after 1lakh per month

23lpa you got by 1 switch or how is it?

TwirlyJellybean
TwirlyJellybean

2 switches. Got 100% hike after 1st switch and then an approx 230% hike after the 2nd one.

Well to be honest, the insane hikes were mainly because I targeted a very niche role (Blockchain Protocol Development) which had demand, but relatively less supply in India.

Although at global level, the salary average for this role is about $70k. But again that's because of the VC money being pumped in

How many times did you switch

TwirlyJellybean

Twice. Both were Web3 startups

It's amazing bro. Please have a look at my post in my profile. I believe you are the right person to answer it.

You need to share the link bro, coz Grapevine doesn't allow one to browse through a profile's post
