Quit IT Career but no backup plan

I feel stuck in what I am doing currently. A 9-5 basic corporate job with same monotonous routine. I feel like I wont be able to do this life long.

Can someone please suggest any alternative career paths after quitting IT?

As you grow there are no ways to escape. You have to be stronger and don't take it wrong but if you are a girl then they have the option to marry someone richer and have fun but if you are a boy specially from the middle-class there is no way to escape

What does it mean by Marry with someone richer ?? Girls should also be independent for a happy life... Depends on others never be happy

I am a woman and i disagree. Instead of orbiting aimlessly around someone else's planet, I would rather be my own planet. Financial independence is a lot of things in life. Marrying someone just for money to cluelessly live each day without my own agency would not be acceptable.

Please don't quit without a solid plan and few months financial backup. Anything is better than staying idle. Idle mind is dangerous.

One cannot stay engaged with something and say I will do another thing also in parallel... had it been so, he/she would have excelled in current work/engagement/job/etc.

it is good you quit,so that you can think to find next opportunity (job/business), and stay focussed to do the best.

Now that you have quit, start quickly to find your next opportunity... do not ask others where the best opportunity, as most folks here are in IT and they do not know of other areas beyond IT.

Take your 5 to 9 to build your 9 to 5 . Do something in 5 to 9 that anything you are interested or any new skill build , Business ,startup etc. Nothing will became big in one day It will take time . Be Consistent whatever you will be doing than result will be in your Hands . Always try what u have in ur mind. You will never Procrastinate in you life . Marks My words .

Ideally, any "employee" career path would be similar to a 9 to 5 job.

Better you explore more on your own skills, interest and what excites you, and then look out for career opportunities in that domain.

Else, even after switching to any other domain, in the end you'd start getting the same feeling of being stuck in a job.
