Quick advice
Got placed for a package of 14 base after my undergrad, happy for my self. But when I look and see package for my friend who are working as an associate consultant with a package of 30lpa, I feel like I deserve more. Also I feel growth, package and perks are good in consulting.
As many of you are currently working professionals, most of you can relate to the feeling, can you give me advice regarding this.

My best advice is to stop comparing yourself with others. 14 base after undergrad is pretty good.

Not even MBB pays more than 20 after Btech, kaunsi consulting hai bhai ye

Not base, complete CTC

Not base, complete CTC

And here I am with 15 LAP at the age of 30 😭🥲

Bro you've done well in life :)

Ha! Not at all man. After looking at the salaries section in the app, depression has hit me badly. I am already going through a phase in life and the salaries section has made me hate myself and my life. I'm not sure if this is a phase I'm going through or if this is what my life is. I don't know man. I don't know if I hate my job or the domain I work in or the organization I work in or the colleagues I work with or is it just me and my attitude towards my life or my dumb mind or my lazy ass or is it a combination of all these stuff. I dunno man. I'm sorry for this random rant. Just felt like sharing what I've been feeling lately.

No one pays 30 lakh for associate consultant

Bcg

There is a trajectory to life that eventually happens if you work towards it. Don't compare someone's pathway to yours. Comparison will only lead to your downfall.

Edit - she joined as a associate consultant after her Btech

Seems unlikely - could you let us know the company? MBB CTCs top 20L for undergrads

Did they go to EY Parthenon? Thats the only one that pays that much for undergrads - and it’s pretty much a shit life
