Question to people who actively post on Grapevine
I have been thinking over this lately - why does it feel easy to share news, memes, doubts on Grapevine than on other social media
Scrolling on Instagram, LinkedIn or Twitter ; when I find something interesting my first reaction is to share on Grapevine

On point

@samosa I am same here and out of Grapevine ๐

I always thought I was the only smartest person alive and didn't like to talk with dumb people. One day, I came to this platform and realized there are other people like me who can understand sarcasm, technology, politics, and memes, which most people in my circle can't. My father once said, 'Know your audience,' so I'm here.
Haha thanks for reading this is just another sarcastic pov ..

Anonymity. Networking.

Networking isn't better on other platforms? Like LinkedIn & Twitter

For me this worked out. LinkedIn is a market. Twitter was best probably 6-7 yrs ago. From grapevine i had some connections. Iโm still at starting stage. So to make that IRL connections this is best platform IMO. Also here We will get replies from OGโs๐.
I like posting on grapevine because most of the users here are verified and they are either students or they have a job/business, acheivers and overachievers. I take their opinion or suggestion seriously, which is generally not the case if you try to interact in other platforms, there's a very less chance you get a proper response.

This is more truer for LinkedIn. The trust is more there, you can see how high up the hierarchy they are. How is Grapevine better other than response rate?
Linkedin isn't anonymous. My main reason.
Literally my linkedin has 0 posts but just my activity will be, commenting congratulations for my friends job updates or likes of some tech articles. I don't even share my new job updates.I don't like attention on linkedin. I don't feel like asking a doubt posting it on linkedin , I'd reach out directly to the person.

Anonymity. Thats it.

We still share non controversial stuff. Like you write on stock market and trading, why is it better here?

I think people here are relatively mature. If i wanted to post elsewhere i wont choose instagram. I don't like that app much and you need followers on twitter to start.
On other platforms we use to post regarding trips or some achievements and other stuff, you can't rant about ur life, company, partner or or talk about mental health. Just imagine a person with 300 followers asking for friends to hang out with. Here ig there is no fear of judgement makes the difference.

Exactly!
We can be true to ourselves without fear of being judged
