Is there a way to get hired as quant developer after 2 yoe in basic Java microservices? What should I get good at to stand out for quant companies?
sadly quant firms emphasize a lot on college as well, should be fine if you're from tier1/2. assuming that you are, make a good resume, start pinging recruiters on linkedin (do keep it updated) and that's the best way to go about it. apply wherever there's an opening, it's a numbers game at the end of the day. i work as a researcher so I'm not sure what kind of tech stack you would need to be a QD though, it depends firm to firm as well
