Difference between Product Engineer and Product Manager
I've been selected as a product Engineer at one of the op payment startups and I can't seem to understand the difference between the two similar sounding roles. Any help?
Hi,
I just googled, and on google, it is showing that product executive is the senior of product manager. But I'm confused.
Can anyone help me regarding career progression. Currently I'm working as a product executive in a startup.
Its two different meanings of the same word. So executive generally refers to a senior officer in a firm. So any {function}-executive is a broad term for the senior officer of that domain. Like a marketing exec or a sales exec. This convention is followed abroad.
What you are is a designation title rather than an adjective (or noun idk). So your designation is lower than the broader use of the title. Youre better off taking a more established title like product manager.
Currently I'm a product executive. So I should go for product manager designation?

Please let me know about the companies looking for product managers/analysts for freshers. Internship and FTE roles both are to be considered. Thanks.
