Product based company or service based company?

CTC offered - 22.5 YOE - 2.3

Hello guys I am currently working at a service based company and have got a good offer from a product based company.

The issue is my current company wants to retain me at any cost. Matching the offer from product based. The work here is not so good.. learning is stagnant. The manager and culture is chill, no fixed office timings.

What should I do? Should I join product based or get retained?? Will the tag of product based company help me in future? Please help me...

Congrats! 🎊
I am also looking to transit into product management, have done few startups which didn't pan out as hoped! Would greatly appreciate any guidance or referrals u might be able to offer? With my startup experience I have gained hands-on experience on production lifecycle management, prd's, agile methodologies .....just see if things can work out for me...I am open for probation as well.

You being yourself in a product based company can you tell how did it help you in your career (like learning opportunities, making connections, appraisals, did you get more pbc calls)?

Go for product based company, you have only 2.3 years of experience this is your time to grind. According to me the time to seek comfort is when we would have kids and want time to spend with them prior to that we should always opt for grind
