🚨PMO profile career growth & work pressure🚨
Hi everyone! I'm exploring career growth opportunities within PMO (Project Management Office) roles and would love to hear your experiences.
💼 How’s the career trajectory in a PMO profile? 📈 What does growth typically look like over 3–5 years? ⚙️ How intense is the work pressure—especially in consulting firms or large MNCs?
Note: i have done mba + 4 year at EY not in PMO role. But worked as tester, support role, documentation work. Now having a offer from Deloitte usi. Shall i switch?

If it is for PMO role and you willing to move your career in PMO role then please go ahead. PMO role is very vast and varies org to org or project to project. In some org they might only utilse for reaourcing for your project or in some project they might give you only documentation or some financial report, but any type of this work will help you to grow and get experience. Career growth is limited as compare to any technical roles but once you good experience of around 10 year you can go leadership positions like senior manager or lead PMO or executive. This profile demand extreme flexibility doing a task like escorting your clients, arranging accomodations, giving some trainings, planning a fun activity or collaboration activity like outing, project party and N number of tasks like these. But as I said earlier it all depends on org to org.

Thanks a lot
